By accessing or using MedProfile ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users of MedProfile, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.
MedProfile is a platform that allows medical professionals to create and publish personal professional websites by uploading their CV. The Service uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude API) to extract and structure CV information, and provides design templates for presenting that information as a public website.
You must be at least 18 years old to use MedProfile. By using the Service, you represent that you are a medical or healthcare professional, or are acting on behalf of one. MedProfile is not intended for general consumers.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
MedProfile reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

MedProfile does not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for any credentials or information published by users. Any patient or third party relying on information from a MedProfile website does so at their own risk.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.
Certain features of MedProfile require a paid subscription or one-time payment. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan chosen). You authorise MedProfile to charge your payment method on the billing cycle.
Price changes: We reserve the right to change pricing. You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price change affecting your active subscription.
Failed payments: If a payment fails, we may suspend your account until payment is resolved. Published websites may be taken offline if payment is not received within a reasonable grace period.
Due to the nature of the Service (immediate access to AI processing and website publishing), all payments are generally non-refundable once the Service has been used.
Exceptions may be made at our discretion in cases of technical failure on our part that prevented you from using the Service. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of payment to contact@medprofile.online.
If you are located in the European Union, you may have statutory rights to a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services. However, by explicitly requesting immediate access to the Service (i.e. uploading a CV and generating a website), you acknowledge that the Service has been fully performed and waive this right where permitted by law.
You retain ownership of your own professional information and content. By uploading content to MedProfile, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and serve that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
The MedProfile platform, including its design, templates, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of MedProfile and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without written permission.
MedProfile is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be perfectly accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedProfile shall not be liable for:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to MedProfile in the 3 months prior to the claim.
You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your published website will be taken offline and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
MedProfile reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. In the event of termination due to a violation, no refund will be issued.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of MedProfile shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice on the platform at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of MedProfile after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
